Afternoon tea at the Sheehans Thatch House in Finuge ! Our Residents from Killeline Nursing Home went back to Kerry last week again for afternoon tea! It turned out to be a wonderful afternoon off dancing ,singing ,lovely food , drinks and plenty of fun! Thanks very much for having us and our Residents can’t wait to go back there again!😁

Boccia Tournament! Our Residents from Killeline went over to Windmill Nursing Home last week for a few biccia games. All Residents really enjoyed the games and had some lovely finger food, cakes and a few drinks after. Everyone had a fabulous afternon! We are looking foward for the next boccia blizt!😁

Day in Knock. Our Residents from Killeline went on our annual trip to Knock. We spent some time exploring the beautiful Churches where we enjoyed the peace and amazing atmosphere. After mass in the Basilica we did our shopping in the local souvenir shops and on the way home we had a dinner in Mother Hubbard’s 😁

What a great day! We held a summer BBQ today for the Nursing Homes Week where we displayed our wonderful gallery of our art and crafts. Fantastic, colorful creations brought together by our Residents. Fantastic day was had by all with lovely food,live music by Billy O Brien, face painting for the little ones, plenty of dancing and we had a reception with proseco and chocolate fountain. Thanks everyone for coming!😁

What a fantastic morning we had today in Killeline Nursing Home. Thanks very much to Ben from Wild Encounters for bringing his beautiful creatures to us. Residents, staff and visitors alike had a brilliant time and all very hard pressed to choose a favorite from the all absolutely amazing animals 😁We are looking forward to the next visit!

We took a trip back in time today and saw what Lartigue Monorail looked like over a hundred years ago. We saw and went on a ride of the re-creation of the historical railway that run from Listowel to Ballybunion between 1888 and 1924 which was a real joy to experience! After we went to Sheehans Thatch House in Finuge where we spent a wonderful afternoon full of songs and dance and also we meet a local Paul Kennely who shared his tales with us. The Residents had a fantastic day😁

We were delighted to host a Boccia Blitz in Killeline Nursing Home today as one of the Nursing Homes Week event. What a wonderful afternoon we had.. it was fierce competition at times with plenty of laughs and fun😁 Big thanks to Windmill Nursing Home & Retirement Village who joined us and congratulations to all the participants who played on the day! We are looking forward to the next Boccia Blitz!

Our Residents and Staff spent a lovely afternoon today in Lough Gur exploring and learning the history of that magical place. After visiting the museum, we had a lovely walk around the lake then followed by a picnic. Everyone had a fabulous day 😁

Our Residents from Killeline Nursing Home had a wonderful time at Cd Launch in Hazelwood College Dromcollogher in Dromcollogher last Friday. It was a great night of fantastic music by such talented students! Well done to all and thanks for having us😃

Residents and Staff from Killeline Nursing Home enjoyed the wonderful trip to Di**le today to visit the Oceanworld. We saw the whole bunch of fish,reptiles,Otters, Sharks, butterflies and the penguins which were a firm favorites with everyone! Followed by picnic and the Ice creams we all had a fabulous day😁
