Alison Shortt

Ba, Ma Counselling & Psychotherapy (Addiction)

Alison is a Humanistic and Holistic Therapist specialising in addiction counselling, with a trauma-informed and person-centred approach. Her work is grounded in the belief that every individual is unique, and therefore therapy should be tailored to meet each person’s needs.

Alison is trained and qualified in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Schema Therapy, Inner Child Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Community Reinforcement Approach, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, amongst others. This allows her to draw from different techniques to support clients in the way that works best for them.

Alison offers a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their inner world, develop self-understanding, and reflect on the relationships they hold with themselves and others.

Ursula Meehan

MA Art Therapy. MIACAT

'Ursula is an experienced art therapist who works with children, adolescents and adults. An artist herself, she comes from a strong background of art making and art facilitation. In 2008 she studied Arts and Empowerment Facilitation in Crawford College of Art and Design. Then, in 2010 she continued her studies earning a Masters of Arts in Art Therapy in 2013. She is an accredited professional member of IACAT the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists. Ursula has worked with various organisations who provide therapeutic intervention, and has over ten years experience in the fields of neurodiversity with children and adults, community mental health and psychiatry of later life. It is through her work with community family organisations that she has experience in one to one art therapy with children and adolescences.'

Introducing TIERNAN CREGAN MSc Psychotherapy

'Tiernan offers a warm and supportive space to explore whatever you may be facing. He works with individuals over 18 experiencing a range of emotional and personal difficulties, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and anger. Whether things feel overwhelming, unclear, or difficult to put into words, clients are welcome to bring whatever is going on for them.

His approach is pluralistic, meaning he works collaboratively with each person to find what suits them best. He draws from person-centred therapy, CBT, ACT, and choice theory, adapting the work to individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Tiernan holds a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Resources, and trained in MSc Psychotherapy at IICP. As a pre-accredited therapist, he is committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and providing thoughtful, ethical support.'
