This Sunday, March 8th is ‘international women’s day’ & it falls during ‘women in sports week’. If you feel like doing something for you, join me at 10am for a 7k hike from Timahoe community centre R32 KC82 to Fossey Mountain. Refreshments afterwards in Tower and Bean coffee shop in the heritage centre.

Step into the great outdoors with me this Thurs Mar 5th 10am for a refreshing 3 km Fitsticks walk along the Grand Canal Blueway starting from Courtwood GAA Club - celebrating women in sports week 2026 !

Women in Sport week is happening next week from March 2nd to 8th.

Join me Thurs Mar 5th 10am at Courtwood Gaa for a 3km Fitsticks walk from the clubhouse down the canal to Fisherstown bridge. Contact Catriona on 086 7935234 to book in. Fitsticks provided. Tea/coffee afterwards.

A Sunday morning for you - weather permitting !

Join me for a 45 min boat trip on the Grand Canal from Vicarstown to Dilly Dally Coffee where we will gather for a 45 min stretching class in Linda’s private garden. Afterwards it’s time for tea/coffee & Linda’s homebaked treats before heading back on our boat to Vicarstown.

Allow 2.5-3 hrs for the event.

Please note this event will be filmed by Waterways Ireland for a short documentary. Filming will be discreet & unobtrusive.

Price : €35 not including refreshments.

Limited to 12 which is the capacity of the boat.

A few spaces available on my next boat trip this Fri Aug 22nd, meeting at Vicarstown Bridge Café at 9.50am to depart on Blueway Boat Trips for a 45 min trip heading towards Athy. We’ll disembark at Dilly Dally Coffee for tea/coffee & Lindas homebaked treats before heading back to Vicarstown.

Price €20 for the return boat trip, refreshments not included.
Currently the forecast is indicating dry weather but bring a rain jacket as it’s an open top boat & bring some insect repellent !

Allow 2-2.5hrs got the event.
