The other day one of my Ladies told me that she had asked God to send her an angel to help her and I arrived. Today an elderly couple I visit told me that I am an answer to their prayers. On both occasions I came close to tears.
Now I am no angel but I am deeply touched and very humble that God would send me in answer to somebody's prayers.
Just at a time when I am tired and feel like I have hit a brick wall, I hear this and know that I am in the right job.

The High Hopes Choir join the Electric Picnic line-up!!

The 60-strong High Hopes Choir, which began as the subject of an RTÉ documentary, is set to take pride of place at the Electric Picnic Trailer Park.

The choir was the subject of a three part documentary called High Hopes which aired on RTÉ television in December 2014, and has gone on to be a fantastic success.

A big shout out to Nick and Alexandra of Nick's Coffee in Ranelagh, which offers free tea and coffee to anyone over 65. Don't forget to bring ID!
