Sacred Ceremony Facilitation 🪷🌙✨️

In our modern world, so many of our most potent stages and phases of life come and go without an honouring or marking of the occasion/time.

Rites of passage / sacred ceremonies offer a space for you to honour and celebrate your transition from one stage of life to another.

These ceremonies vary greatly from person to person and individual circumstance, however often involve gathering a small group of your closest ones, and contain symbolic acts and rituals that help to honour and process these sacred times.

There is no one size fits all approach to these ceremonies as they are deeply personal, and I work alongside each individual to craft a ceremony which honours your uniqueness and what you are seeking.

These ceremonies can honour many occasions /sacred rites of passage, some of which include:

Pregnancy Loss Support 🤍

Pregnancy loss, whether through miscarriage, still birth or termination is an incredibly complex and lonely experience which evokes a vast range of emotions and experiences for individuals and couples.

Grief, anger, guilt, anxiety, depression are deeply interwoven with physical and hormonal changes, and navigating the emotional and physical aftermath can be isolating, painful and confusing.

Unfortunately, pregnancy loss is an area which is so painfully neglected within both the medical and the holistic field from all aspects, be it physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, leading most woman completely alone, lacking support, healing, guidance, post partum care and help in processing the complexities that follow loss.

This offering was created to offer a space for women to be held and supported through the experience of pregnancy loss.
These sessions offer a profound support, and bridge to healing, but are by no means attempting to be seen as a complete package necessary to meet the big-ness of loss and all of its layers.

While this is a beautiful and powerful support, more in depth packages holding loss, containing nutritional guidance/ post partum supports/ home visits / pre-conception support are also available on request.

Birth is such an incredibly potent, multidimensional time, and with that can present many unexpected areas to confront.

Pregnancy, birth and post partum at the core are times of incredible power, magic and wonder, however along with this can come many unexpected layers to unpack and process including mental and emotional stress, physical discomfort, generational trauma, past birth trauma, family roles, societal pressure and lack of community support to name a few.

This offering aims to bridge the gap between what women deeply crave on a cellular level and what our current systems and models offer.

Post partum packages are created based on each woman & families particular needs, and can include a combination of:

Offers a relaxing and supportive treatment with gentle, safe techniques to relieve discomfort, reduce stress & offer nourishment within the magic time of pregnancy.

Treatment is adapted based on stage of pregnancy, presentation and individual needs.

Treatment is offered in a side-lying positions with supportive pillows & blankets, allowing you to comfortably and safety let go and release.

TCM Acupuncture 🌺

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing.

It is based on the concept that a vital energy called "qi" flows through meridians pathways, and contributes to imbalances and illness within the body.

Stimulating these points aims to restore the balance of qi and promote overall well-being.

Acupuncture can be used to support a wide range of conditions, some of which include: pain, stress, mental health conditions, sleep issues, hormonal issues, fertility issues, addictions, headaches, pregnancy related complaints.

This is a treatment well tolerated by most, the needles are relatively painless and offers a deeply relaxing fully clothed treatment.

I am currently in my final stages of qualification for Acupuncture & am offering this modality as a Student practitioner.

Somatic Healing 🪶✨️

In contrast to traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy focuses on the body as a starting point for healing and incorporates physical techniques within treatment, and can be a powerful and deeply healing approach, particularly when talk therapy has reached its limits.

Focusing on the connection between the mind and body to promote healing and well-being, this modality acknowledges that past traumas (physical/emotional) and negative experiences can be stored in the body, leading to physical and emotional distress.

Somatic healing techniques, such as body awareness, movement, hands on healing, breathwork, nervous system support and sound, aim to release these stored tensions and facilitate healing on all levels of the mind/body/spirit.

These sessions can vary vastly from person to person depending on what you are presenting with /working with in your life, however some threads remain the same.

Somatic sessions begin with an in depth consult to gain a deeper understanding on your journey to this point and your current presentation along with any relevant factors /background information, followed by a combination of the following techniques based on your unique needs:

- Grounding work /meditations
- Body scans /tuning in to the body and its sensations
- Cranio work
- Gentle physical manipulations - movement of the arms & legs.
- Womb work
- Hands on energy work

Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy

The practice of assessing the root causes of imbalancea/diseases and providing therapeutic protocols to address the root and identify ways to help prevent illness, rather than simply treating symptoms.

This modality is centred around key naturopathic principles:

1. Work with the healing power of nature, trusting the body’s innate ability to heal and recover when powers obstacles are removed.

2. Identify the cause – address the underlying root cause of illness rather than simply treating/masking symptoms.

3. First, do no harm – use the most natural, least toxic and least invasive therapies first.

4. Support the whole person – assess not just the physical condition but also the factors that influence health and well-being.

5. Therapist as teacher – educate clients in the art of self-care and steps to take to achieve optimal health.

6. Prevention – encouraging the promotion of health and prevention of disease.

Along with these principles, this work recognises that each person has a unique interaction with nutrients, and their environment and treatment protocols vary from person to person.

Naturopathic Consults look into each of the body systems, environment, emotional/mental well being, dietary and lifestyle factors, and may include blood testing referrals to find the root cause of presenting factors and tailor plans to reduce symptoms and support whole system healing.

Plans include appropriate recommendations and advice on dietary, lifestyle and supplemental protocols including food preparation and detoxification guidelines.
