Ruth and her sister Joyce provide a mobile Equine Therapy Service to include hands on deep tissue Sports Massage and Spinal Therapy. Massage is important to maintain healthy soft tissue like their muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Our therapy includes history about the horse, checking balance of musculoskeletal, assessing the horse in walk and trot and applying techniques including Swedi

sh massage, Trigger point Therapy, Acupressure points, Emmett Techniques and Active and Passive stretches. Depending on what we find we would check the fit of the saddle and suggest exercises to improve flexibility of the horse. The aim of our therapy is to help the horse cope with the stresses and strains of training for Races or competition by reducing tension in the body, to relax overused muscles and help tone atrophied muscles regaining full range of movement, Suppleness and changing behaviour issues.
