How lovely to see the stretch
When the evening comes our way
To smell spring in the air
On a bright sunny day
Although mr frost is still around
And covers the ground by night
It always brings a brightness...we can enjoy a little more

As I awoke this morning
I was so thankful just to see
The bright sun in the sky
Looking back at me

Its the little things we are thankful for
When the sun shines it makes our day
So many weeks of cloud gone by
Spring is on the way

Enjoy every moment
This day of brightness will bring
Looking forward to changes
As we move into Spring

NOTE TO SELF...Push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. Go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise.

Push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable.

Get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms and garlic, fry an egg, make crispy bacon and an extra sausage. Sit and eat it and do nothing else.

Stretch. Start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. Roll your head. Stretch your fingers. Stretch everything.

Buy a 1L water bottle. Start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice.

Buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. Write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. No detail is too small.

Strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. Put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. Make your bed in full.

Organise your room. Fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, vacuum the floor. Light a beautiful candle.

Have a luxurious bath with your favourite music playing. Wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. Lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck.

Push yourself to go for a walk. Take your headphones and walk. Smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back.

Message old friends with personal jokes. Reminisce. Suggest a catch up soon, even if you don’t follow through. Push yourself to follow through.

Think long and hard about what interests you. Crime? S*x? Boarding school? Long-forgotten romance etiquette? Find a book about it and read it. There is a book ab

New Year can be a hard time for some families who are suffering grief and loss and my thoughts are with you all.

I have a great passion for complementary therapies and I have chosen to practice two here at ‘A Little Time For Me’ : Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.

Reflexology is so much more than a soothing, comforting foot massage . It covers a wide range of treatments and I have trained in quite a few! Recently, I have trained in oncology and palliative care Reflexology,also advanced Reflexology for Special Needs and Integrated Ear Reflexology. Here is a list of reflexology treatments I currently offer, and of course, not forgetting my Indian Head Massage therapy also. • Aromatherapy Reflexology. (Including aromatherapy oil’s to an already relaxing and rejuvenating treatment which helps to bring balance to our mind and body.) • Integrated Ear Reflexology • Orthopedic Reflexology • Fertility Reflexology • Pregnancy Reflexology. • Baby and Toddler. • Oncology Reflexology • Reflexology for Palliative Care • Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage. • Advanced Reflexology for Special Needs. • Integrated Ear Reflexology and a lovely relaxing head massage is truly bliss. • Indian Head Massage This therapy is a beautiful deeply relaxing therapy, releasing the stress and tension we all tend to hold in our upper back, neck and shoulder areas.
