Hi
We are organising a fundraising truck run to each cancer care centre in Ireland this summer and I was wondering if you would be interested in supporting
I appreciate it’s a raw subject but there hasn’t been a house in Ireland which hasn’t been affected by cancer and the trucking industry is a tight net community but together we can all help and support each other
The plan is visit all the centres in 48hours and conclude with a truck run from Athlone to Roscommon
We are launching at full of the pipe truck show and the organisers have given their support and we are going to be their chosen fundraiser for the show with our logos on all their posters etc also Irish trucker magazine is on board & are going to do an interview with us
Even if we only raise a few euro it’s a help but if we can get the guys & girls in the trucks to be more aware of cancer then we have won
The theme is
We give a Truck about Cancer
( cancer truck run )
Would you be interested in sponsoring/ donating
Every euro is a help

On behalf of everyone at Roscommon Cancer Support, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the Fitzpatrick family and friends for their incredibly generous donation in memory of Jacinta Fitzpatrick. The lunch fundraiser held at the Galmont Hotel in Galway on July 29, 2024, was a beautiful tribute to Jacinta's vibrant life and her love for Galway Race Week.

This special event, organized just one year after Jacinta's untimely passing on July 31, 2023, raised an impressive sum of over €11,000. We are truly touched that the proceeds were shared between Roscommon Cancer Support at Vita House Family Centre and The Hospice.
While the financial support is significant, what means even more to us is the recognition of the vital role our therapeutic services play for those affected by cancer. We are honored that Kevin invited us to speak about the work we do at Vita House, allowing us to share our mission with Jacinta's loved ones.

We want to assure the Fitzpatrick family and their friends that we will honor Jacinta's memory by thoughtfully using this generous donation. Her spirit will live on through the compassionate support and care we provide to those facing cancer and their loved ones.

The outpouring of love and support at this event is a testament to the impact Jacinta had on so many lives. Thank you all for turning your loss into a force for good, helping others in need. Your kindness and generosity truly inspire us and will make a real difference in our community.
