May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month!

Know the signs:

🚻 Changes in bladder habits

⚠️ Pain or burning when urinating

People living with bladder cancer report high levels of emotional distress ("scanxiety"), long-term fatigue, and financial burden. There are free of charge services available all across Ireland that can help. Please visit your local cancer support centre for information and support. Lymphoedema cannot be cured but can be managed, particularly when diagnosed early.

The main symptom of lymphoedema is swelling – usually in the arm or leg.
If you notice swelling like this or any other lymphoedema symptoms call your GP or consultant.
