Anastasia (Teresa/Tessie) Tighe

(née Murphy)​​

Kilfree, Gurteen, Co.Sligo.

-24th July 2025-

Teresa passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side.
Predeceased by her loving husband Denis and her son Kieran and her sisters Mary Ellis, Kitty Ahearne, Una Ryan and her brothers Patsy and Billy Murphy.

She will be very sadly missed by her loving daughters, Trudi, Fiona and Geraldine, sons Cornelius and Vincent, her grandchildren Kieran, Liam, Calum, Christopher and Anna, her great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May Her gentle, kind and always giving soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her home (F56 FY76) on Saturday (26th July) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Sunday to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 1.30pm with burial afterwards in St. Aidan’s Cemetery, Monasteraden, Co. Sligo.

Michael is sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his sisters Phil (Croghan), Kathleen (Rosslare), Ann (London), Assumpta (Ballaghaderreen), and Caroline (Loughlynn), brother Fintan (Frenchpark), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Michael will repose in Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle (F52 ND23), on Friday (25th July) from 5pm until 7pm with removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Breedogue, for prayers at 7.45pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 12.30pm with burial afterwards in Killaraght Old Cemetery.

-21st July 2025-

Maureen passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the wonderful staff in Ballymote Community Nursing Unit.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Matt, her granddaughter Lorraine, brothers Matt, Paddy, Eamon and John James, sister Babs, nephews David, Henry, Padraig, and Gerard and nieces Marie and Christine (who passed away recently).

Maureen will be sadly missed by her devoted family, sons Eamon (Evelyn) and John (Pam), daughters Kitty (Damien) and Carmel (Micheal), grandchildren Jonathan, Ronan, Gillian, Marie, Darren, Eva and Henry, greatgrandchildren Dylan, Emma, Layla, Jack, Freya, Finn and Poppy as well as her loving nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and many friends.

Maureen will repose in the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote (F56TK20), on Wednesday (23rd July) from 5pm until 7.30pm, with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, for prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday morning at 11am, with burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery.

Christine passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff in Sligo University Hospital, after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity, with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her parents John James and Clare, her sister Marie Hill and her brother David.

Mary passed away peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents Michael and Susan Carroll, brother P.J. and infant granddaughter Angela O’Reilly.
