The death has occurred of Liam Nestor, Wilsen, Willesden, London and formerly of Mountdelvin, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon – 3rd April 2025, peacefully at St. John’s Wood Hospice.

He is predeceased by his parents Patrick and Susanna, brothers Padraig and Eamonn, sister Anne and nephew Brian.

Liam will be sadly missed by his brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and his many friends and neighbours in London and Cloonfad.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Sunday, 1st June at 10.30am in St. Patrick’s Church, Cloonfad followed by the burial of Liam’s ashes in Irishtown Cemetery.

Death Notice - 3rd March 2025

The death has occurred of Mary Finnegan
(née McHale), Lavallyroe, Co. Mayo. Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on 2nd March 2025. She is predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary.
Mary will be deeply and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 55 years, Michael, her children Noreen, Michael, Siobhán, Martin and Stephen, her brother Martin and sister Noreen Gallagher, sons-in-law Stephen and Gerard, daughters-in-law Susan, Olivia and Suzanne, her beloved grandchildren India, Raif, Cicely, Daniel, Callan, Nina, Rebecca, Matthew, Noah, Ava, Isaac, Oisín, Fionn, Ethan and Zach, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours.

May She Rest in Peace.

Mary will repose at the PJ Keane Funeral Home, Cloonfad (F35 KW18) on Wednesday, March 5th from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Cloonfad for Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 6th, at 12 midday. Burial afterwards in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Philip (Phil) Flatley, Meeltrane, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Highbury and Barnet, London - 2nd February 2025, peacefully at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen, parents Michael and MaryKate, sister Mary and brother Martin. Phil will be sadly missed by his sons Philip and Damien, daughters-in-law Laura and Lucy, grandchildren Ellie, Florence, Finn, Jack and Eliza, brothers Brian, Sean, Michael and Eamon, sisters Bernadette, Noreen and Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Fahey, Carrowneden, Tulrahan, Claremorris, Co. Mayo - 25th January 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Dalton Home, Claremorris. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Delia, brothers Michael and John Joe, nephew David and grandnephew Tom. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Mary, brothers Padraig and Tom, sisters Mary and Christina, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Death Notice - 3rd January 2025

The death has occurred of Christina, (better known as Chris) Neenan, née Sullivan, Betal, Granlahan, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon - 3rd January 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully at University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by her parents David and Margaret Sullivan, grandson Evan, brother Jim, and sisters May and Peggy. Chris will be missed and forever loved by her devastated husband of 71 years Frank, her children Joe and Mairead (Tully), grandchildren Michelle, Tara, Danielle, Conor and Kevin, daughter-in-law Bernadette, son-in-law Tom, great-grandchildren JJ, Ruby and Teagan, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
