Babies and children have very sensitive skin.

Playing and spending time outdoors is good for your child but it is important to protect children's skin when outside in the sun between April and September, even on cloudy days.

🔔 Update - we are back up and running!

We are currently experiencing internet issues in our main site in Longford. This has a knock-on effect with Rooskey surgery unable to access the software system.
We have logged the fault with our service provider and hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible.

This means, at the moment we are unable to process prescriptions, electronic referrals, results, appts etc.

We will update as soon as the issue is resolved.

Having old or incorrect details on your medical chart can affect future appointments in the surgery and if you are referred to external sources, it can affect hospital / scan appointments as you will be uncontactable.

We will always send you a text message reminder (if you have given consent to do so) 48hrs prior to your appointment. However, it is your responsibility to note the time and date when you book the appointment, in case of issues outside of our control, such as a network outage.

Please also remember to advise us of any changes to your contact details. You can do this via phone or email.

🚨 Please Note 🚨

Due to the red weather warning that is in place for Roscommon/ Leitrim and surrounding areas tomorrow until 12pm we have decided to close our Rooskey surgery.

Our Longford surgery will be closed tomorrow morning but will open at 2pm.
Our admin team will be in contact with those who have appointments scheduled for both surgery’s tomorrow morning.
