MICHAEL (MICK) BREHENY Greenfield Road, Lisnamult, Roscommon Town passed away peacefully on 24th May 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the devoted care of the wonderful staff at Roscommon Hospice.

He will be forever missed by his much loved wife Marian (née Donlon), son Michael, daughter Edel, son-in-law Thomas Moran, Michael’s partner Michelle Burke, his adored grandsons Tomás and Patrick, brothers Martin (Ballintubber) and P.J. (Clooneenbane), sisters Winnie Fallon (Rockfield) and Nonie Oates (Elphin), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

He is predeceased by his late parents Pat and Nora and his sister Agnes.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’c until 7 o’c. Removal from the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 10.20 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon (via Lisnamult) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.

FRANK MULLEN Ardsallagh Woods, Roscommon Town and formerly of Castlestrange, Fuerty, Co Roscommon passed away peacefully on 23rd May 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the devoted care of the staff at Roscommon Hospice.

Predeceased by his late wife Mary, parents Michael and Bridget, sisters Maureen and Teresa and brothers Gerard and Bernard.

Forever missed by his loving wife and soulmate Mary, heartbroken children Rebecca (Naughton), Kieran and Fiona (McHale), his sons-in-law Brendan Naughton and Fintan McHale, daughter-in-law Geraldine Mullen (née O’Sullivan).

He will be forever missed by his adored grandchildren Darragh, Jack, Molly, Eoghan, Shaun, Tara, Paddy, Eabha, Oisin, Fionn and Lanah.

Sadly missed by his brothers Tom, Jarlath, Ignatius and Brendan, sisters Sarah and Bernadette, nieces, nephews, the Murphy family, relatives, friends, neighbours and former colleagues at Roscommon County Council.

JOHN CONNOLLY Cherry Drive, Roscommon Town and formerly of Barnacullen, Rahara and Castlestrange, Co Roscommon passed away peacefully at his home on 20th May, 2026.

Reunited in his heavenly home with his beloved son Phillip, parents Patrick and Mona, and brothers Bernard and Padraig.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary (née Kelly), brother Tony, sisters Mary Kelly, Margaret Connolly and Mona Devine, brother-in-law Gerard, sisters-in-law Una, Eileen and Nora, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighours and friends.

Sr. Maura Feeley 17th May 2026, Cruby Hill, Roscommon Town and formerly San Bernardino, California and Athlone Road, Roscommon.

Peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family and her Mercy Community.

Reunited in her heavenly home with her parents Bill and Alice, her brothers Tom and Liam and many good friends and acquaintances.

Sr. Maura will be fondly remembered by her sister Alice Stephens, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, her devoted nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, Mercy Community California and Roscommon, and the Sisters of Mercy Western Branch with whom she shared life for over 70 years. Maura had many good friends who will miss her dearly.

May Sr. Maura’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at McAuley House, Roscommon (F42 XV70) on Tuesday 19th May, 5pm until 7pm followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon.

She was one of the rare ones, so effortlessly herself and the world loved her for it.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas, parents Alec and May and brother Frank. She will be forever missed by her sons James, Aidan and Richard, daughter Alexandra Geraghty, brother Des, daughter-in-law Olivia, son-in-law Declan, grandchildren Marc (Shauna), Lauren, Aidan Jnr. PATRICK (P***E) BREHONY Grange, Four-Mile-House, Co Roscommon died peacefully on Tuesday, 5th May 2026, after a long illness, bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Winifred and his sister Ann (Costello). Sadly missed by his devoted wife Mary, son Keith, daughter-in-law Emer, adored grandchildren Ella and Mia, brother Peter, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Barrie, much loved mother of the late Maria and grandmother of the late Baby Barrie. She will be forever missed by her son Seán, daughter Olivia, daughter-in-law Jackie, sons-in-law Mickie Maloney and Richard Smyth, adored grandchildren Eve, Stephen and Kieran, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many good friends.
