New in our assortment! L-Glutamin.

L-Glutamin is an essential amino acid that plays an important role in maintaining healthy muscle tissue, especially in horses undergoing intense training or recovering from injury. This 100% natural formula not only supports muscle building and regeneration, but also contributes to healthy bowel function and a strong immune system🤩

So important! It actually all starts with breeding. Some mares already have metabolic issues and because of this they end up with an already 'Unhealthy' foal and most of these youngsters and mares are also fed incorrectly. Which is why many youngster already have problems such as sweet itch, laminitis or other issues😔🙈

You just want to get everything right. ✨

That first foal, that first youngster – and the responsibility feels huge. 💛
But then reality hits. Suddenly the “growing pains” appear:
😬 Worms
🤧 Infections
🦷 Teething
…and you feel overwhelmed, not knowing how to support your youngster properly.

Here are a few basics that truly help:
🌿 Bitter herbs during spring pasture turnout & after deworming support the gut
🌸 Varied herbal mixes if your pastures lack biodiversity.
🥕 Healthy treats – rose hips or Biostickies instead of “sugar bombs”.
🍂 During coat change: minerals & supportive herbs help the metabolism cope.

But not every foal had a perfect start in life. Some already struggle with skin problems, laminitis or developmental issues. That’s when it’s important to seek help from a competent vet or therapist early on – before small problems turn into big ones. 🩺

💡 And don’t forget: Less is more. A healthy youngster doesn’t need endless supplements – the foundation remains god hay, pasture, minerals & a salt lick.

2 products I recommend during this period of the year when horses start changing their coat

1. Zinc
2. Sulphur (MSM)

During the shedding season in particular, the body loses greater amounts of zinc, which is incorporated into the hair and is naturally lost when the hair falls out. The metabolic requirement for zinc is therefore particularly high in spring and autumn.

sulphur is used in a wide variety of metabolic processes in the body , for example in the formation of horn structures such as the mane, coat, or hoof capsule . Therefore, horses that are prone to poor horn quality, brittle or thin long hair, or problems with shedding benefit particularly from an improved supply.

I dont know about your horses but mine have already started to loose their Summer coat.
The days are becoming shorter. And even though we do not want to think of Autumn yet. It is around the corner!

Some horses need support during this change. Especially the once that already have certain health issues. Like itchy skin/skin problems, cough, allergies, laminitis, lymes disease (just to name a few ). So the sooner you support them the better.

Test to find out if your horse has enough antibodies against tetanus. So over vaccinating can be avoided.
Used to reliably check the tetanus antibody titre in whole blood, plasma and serum of the horse.

Our Fassisi TetaCheck is a qualitative test for checking the tetanus antibody titre in horses. The detection limit of the test is 0.1 IU/ml (reference WHO standard) in serum/plasma or whole blood. A tetanus antibody concentration of < 0.1 IU/ml indicates insufficient vaccination protection. The intensity of the test line provides information about the antibody concentration in the tested sample.

At a concentration of > 1.0 IU/ml, the test line is highly visible and reliable vaccination protection is present. Between 0.1 IU/ml and 1.0 IU/ml, the test line is visible and sufficient vaccination protection is present. If no test line is visible, the concentration is < 0.1 IU/ml and a booster vaccination is recommended.

This means that the perfect time for a booster vaccination can be found and efficient vaccination management can be planned and carried out.

For foals in particular, it is important that a booster vaccination is only carried out when the antibody concentration is low, otherwise there may be a lifelong lack of vaccination protection. Too frequent re-vaccinations should also be avoided in adult animals, as this can also lead to inadequate vaccination protection and vaccination reactions. The titer controls can be used as rapid tests before emergency vaccinations, e.g. in hospitals, in the event of serious injuries directly on site, in the breeding sector and at sporting events.
