We are open 7 days a week bookings are taken throughout the week for individual and groups, therapists, schools and pre schools, teachers and for parties. We are the proud parents of a little girl with acute complex special needs who, over the last few years attended early intervention/preschool services in Roscommon town. We have an excellent home programme of occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy to carry out as part of daily routine. We don't however, have access to any service, therapist, or equipment, outside of school hours, mid-term break, weekends, summer holidays etc, but still need to carry out our home programme to do the best for our daughter. We also find ourselves somewhat restricted when it comes to finding somewhere to go, somewhere for her to play, maybe trigger her senses, and most importantly to be a little girl, and have fun! Of course there are plenty of play areas to visit, but our visits tend to be short lived due to her sensory issues, and her becoming over regulated! After a lot of thought and consideration, we decided to take a little action ourselves, and develop a place where for the first time our child along with her little brother and older sister, and many children just like her can access a facility of play, learn through their senses, maybe even have their birthday party, in a therapeutic, multi-sensory environment! We are very proud and excited to fund and develop this parent/carer led service, and will be opening in early June, with an exact date to follow!
