🎄Our resident Elf on the Shelf has been keeping us company in The Clinic these past few weeks — and with Christmas just around the corner, he’s well settled in by now.

He’s been very well looked after during his stay, getting the odd check-up and plenty of attention along the way. He’s been reporting back to Santy each evening — especially with updates on our younger visitors and how well they’ve been getting on 🎅

🩺 From next week through to the beginning of February, The Clinic will be offering early morning acute illness clinics on select days from 8-9am.

📅 These clinics are for patients with acute illnesses such as colds & flu, with symptoms like cough, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose. There will be 2 of these morning clinic slots announced weekly at the beginning of each week.

📞 These will not be walk-in clinics and patients will have to call ahead to check for availability. Phone lines will be open from 8am on the days of the additional clinics, and until 5.30pm the day before the clinics for this purpose.

If you are due your flu vaccine, we encourage you to book an appointment over the next two weeks. With family gatherings ahead, getting vaccinated helps protect you and your elderly and more vulnerable loved ones over the Christmas period.

📞 New Blood Results Line - Notice for Patients

Please note, from Thursday May 15th, we are introducing a dedicated phone line for blood test results.

The line will operate every Thursday and Friday between 2–3pm. Please listen to the options and select the option for blood results.

Please note: Please wait to call to obtain your blood results until it has been 2 weeks after your blood test. This allows time for the hospital to send results and for the GP to review them.

COVID-19 Spring Booster Programme

The Clinic is running a COVID-19 Spring Booster Clinic on Tuesday, 13th May.

Appointment only – please call 094 986 0154 to book an appointment for this clinic.

Eligible groups:
- Aged 80 or older
- Aged 70–79 and have not received a COVID-19 vaccine in the past 12 months
- Aged 6 months or older with a weakened immune system
- Aged 18 or older living in residential care facilities for older adults (care facilities may have their own arrangements regarding this programme).

To be eligible, at least 3 months must have passed since your last COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed infection.
