Pre-deceased by his parents Henry and Winifred, his brothers and sister.

Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Mary, beloved children Anne, Gerard, Ailish and Edel, adored grandchildren Scott, Sarah and Oisín (their Pops), sons-in-law Séan and Niall.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral, Roscrea on Saturday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal from his residence on Sunday afternoon at 1.00pm arriving in St. Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery.

Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on the 04th May 2026 in the care of Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Susan, his sister Rosemary (Ryan) and his infant siblings Thomas and Susan.

Deeply regretted as the cherished husband and best friend of Doris for 60 years, devoted father to Susanne and treasured grandfather to Jacob and Hannah. He will be sadly missed by his nephew David, his son-in-law James, his relatives and friends.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral Home, Roscrea (E53NY70) on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Funeral Service on Thursday afternoon at 1.00pm in St. Cronan's Church of Ireland, Roscrea (E53FT54) followed by burial afterwards in Dungar Cemetery (E53Y184).
