Laurence (Larry) Joyce (Goatstown and formerly of Irishtown) – April 19th, 2026. Passed away peacefully in his 90th year, in the wonderful loving care of the Caritas Day Hospital, and while surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved and adored husband of Maureen, cherished father of Michael, Patrick, Laurence and Tom, much-loved brother of George, Liam, Patricia, and the late Gene, Tony, Paddy, Jimmy, Cora and Maeve.

Greatly missed and forever remembered by all his loving family, daughters-in-law Maura and Oonagh, his adored grandchildren Patrick, Laurence, Rachel, Lola, Louise, Dylan, David, Shane, Luke and Lewis, sister-in-law Dinah, brother-in-law Sean, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Alan Hubert Spence (Foxrock, Dublin) – 17th April, 2026. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of Foxrock Nursing Home. Devoted husband of the late Dale, Adored father of Richard and Peter.

Always loved, missed and remembered by his family, daughters-in-law Foret and Laura, granddaughters Sanaa, Sophie, Emily and Kaia, brother Rodney, brother-in-law David, extended family and many cherished friends.

Sharon Gibney (Carrickmines, Dublin) – April 13th, 2026. Passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, while surrounded by her loving family. Adored daughter of Patricia and Dermot, much-loved mother of Daniel, Elisha and Callan.

Beloved son of the late Edgar and Florence Ruttledge, much-loved father of Conor, Emer (Feeney) and Niall. Predeceased by his wife Gaye (née Conroy) and his sisters Audrey and Elizabeth.

Passed away peacefully in the compassionate and tender care of the staff at the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook. Beloved wife of Ray Kieran, much-loved mother of Sharon and Paul, adored grandmother of Michelle, James and Mark, and predeceased by her sisters Sheila Murphy and Moya Carton.

We are deeply saddened by the death of our beautiful mam Bridget (Betty) Downey (née Fields) (Sandymount, Dublin and formerly of Lower Erne Street, Dublin) – Mam passed away peacefully in our loving arms on April 15th 2026 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Eamonn and cherished daughter Anita.

Mam will be deeply missed by her heartbroken children Alan, Brenda, Eamonn and Ena, brother Danny, sons-in-law Paul, Pearse and Anthony, daughters-in-law Julie and Helen, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her large circle of friends and neighbours.
