In a new initiative between the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government and Local Authorities across the country, new Covid-19 Community Response Forums have been put in place for each county and co-ordinated by the Local Authority in each case to assist vulnerable citizens.

A dedicated community support helpline is now operating to assist citizens, who may be at risk, to access non-emergency and non-medical supports and advice during the current public health emergency.

Led by the new COVID-19 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Community Response Forum, which includes over a dozen agencies and organisations, this confidential phoneline and email service will focus primarily on ensuring that vulnerable members of the community, or those living alone can access deliveries of groceries, medicine and fuels.

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

Would like to thank our volunteers for all their help with the Kilcross festival week from the 16th to 22nd July 18. On the 16th we had games run by Thomas Morgan from DLR on 17th and 20th we had Owls on the 18th and 19th we had baking /art and crafts with Anita and Debbie Mc Cabe and all the volunteers.
On Saturday 21st July we had the Sandyford mile in honour of the late Ann Docherty, and a lovely display of crafts from the Pins & Needles Group. We held a book launch by the Kilcross Creative writing group on the Friday night, which was sponsored by Capital Credit Union and Three Rock Panorama.
On Sunday we had our fun day with golf, races, penalty shootout, bouncy castles, slide and obstacle course, D.J., community guards, civil defence.
A huge thank you to all who took part and to the volunteers who gave of their time so freely.
