Diane Rodgers - Massage and Bodywork

Diane Rodgers - Massage and Bodywork I practice holistic and deep tissue massage that is individually tailored to the needs of my client

A little bit about me........

I have always had an interest in health and well-being and have been exploring this for myself in many ways over the last 15 years. I have done reiki training and various meditation and healing retreats, all of which have helped me on my own healing journey to now feel in a place to help others in a therapeutic way. Following my interest, I have done introductory courses in Thai and Ayurvedic massage, both of which developed my curiosity to study massage in more detail. I went on to complete my level 4 training in Holistic Massage at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork, considered one of the most reputable and innovative massage colleges in the UK. I love to be in nature and find that this always helps me to relax and slow down. I try to bring this feeling of relaxation to my clients by creating a space for them to have down time to rest, repair and to reconnect with their bodies. I use a wide variety of techniques ranging from gentle flowing touch to slow deep pressure and work with the person to choose what feels right for their individual needs on the day. I find giving massage also makes me feel relaxed and centred and I enjoy sharing this experience.

My Story

A little bit about me........ I’m originally from the west of Ireland and moved to Bristol in 2013. Since being here I have done further training in massage as well as enjoying all that the wonderful city of Bristol has to offer. I have set up my own practice in Bristol and am working from locations in Clifton and Montpellier.

I enjoy working in a holistic way, considering how my clients may feel emotionally and mentally as well as what is going on for them physically and I feel these elements are all inter-related. I practice using a variety of techniques ranging from gentle flowing touch to slow deep pressure and sometimes get my clients to engage through guided mobilisations and breath work on area's of focus which I find can create a more dynamic process for change to take place. I like to help people with relaxation and also enjoy more focused remedial work. My aim is to create a space where my clients feel at ease and I am lead by them in tailoring the treatment to meet their needs on the day.
