Come make some nut milk with me!

Choose what nuts you want and soak a handful overnight in water. If you are using almond nuts remember to peel them after soaking, the skin slides off easily.

I love cashew nuts, almonds or even pumpkin seeds πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Put in a blender, add whatever you want. I like turmeric for it's anti inflammatory properties & black pepper activates turmeric, ginger is lovely and cardamom is delicious πŸ˜‹

Add 1/4 cup of water and blitz for 30 seconds.

Add however much water you want, I use this jug it's about 1.5L.

Blitz for another 30 seconds.

Strain if you wish.

And enjoy!!!

I am a Senior Yoga Teacher, Pilates Teacher, Ayurvedic Yogic Lifestyle Coach and Reiki Practitioner. I host weekly classes, workshops, day retreats, weekend retreats and I am the founder of 🀩

Most importantly I am a dedicated student, forever doing courses, reading, taking classes πŸ“š

I love to travel & often combine my passions by visiting and learning from my teacher in India 🌎 I love food, all food, which makes travel really easy & fun! I am obsessed with learning and sharing what I learn in order to help people physically, energetically, mentally and spiritually. I really want to show people how yoga and pilates can benefit your whole life in a simple way πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

I was born and raised in Kerry (Ireland), traveled a lot in my 20's, lived in Australia and New Zealand and now live in beautiful West Cork with my lovely cat Sammy 🐈

I started practicing yoga in 2013 and immediately fell in love with the practice. Over the last 13 years yoga has taught me so many life skills, introduced me to many amazing people and been a safe place for me to return to. I did my first yoga teacher training in 2017 and haven't stopped training since. I have a light hearted approach while honouring the ancient traditions and wisdoms of yoga. I did my first pilates teacher training in 2021 & love how the 2 work together πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I have witnessed first hand the power and magic of Yoga and Pilates and how these practices can help people in so many different ways, be that helping or preventing injuries, calming the overactive "monkey mind" or simply giving people time and space to connect to themselves ✨

Beside Yoga and Pilates I also love working out, I've started running lately, love good food with good people, being outdoors especially in our beautiful country when the sun is shining and of course cats!

Akhanda Yoga Day Retreats are a beautiful day of different styles of yoga practice, from awakening to restful, a day to be nourished with some delicious food, an opportunity to connect to yourself and others. We will practice movement, mantra, breathwork and meditation. Have time to walk the beautiful grounds, relax in the sauna and cold dip if you fancy it!

Small Group Sadhana will consist of 3 get togethers in a very small group where we will explore techniques and practices to deepen your practice and find balance in your life.

We will cover a range of topics including an introduction to Ayurveda (the science of yoga), eating to strengthen digestive fire, Yogic cleansing techniques, holistic therapies, ceremonies, mantra, movement, breathwork, meditation and more. These sessions will grow and develop according to what the group wants.

We will meet 3 Sunday mornings from 9am to 11am 10th May, 28th June and 26th July in Drimoleague.
