An amazing achievement by a Slimmjng World member...!

In my 12 years as a Slimming World consultant, I've had so many incredible experiences, but I had a first last Tuesday and it filled my heart with serious pride. I had the immense privilege of awarding my VERY FIRST Club 50 award.

Emily joined after she found herself researching the cost of installing a stair lift at home, such was the pain she was in from carrying excess weight, she knew something had to change and that was when she walked through my doors.

96 weeks later and with a phenomenal weightloss of just under 10 stones, Emily has lost over 50% of her body weight and quite rightly has been awarded this hugely special accolade. Emily is a wonderful part of her group both supporting and being supported by other members.

For my part it has been a joy to see this lovely lady transform in front of my eyes each week, both physically and mentally. From researching stair lifts to finding a love of hiking, Emily has changed her life for the better.

Something happened in the 9.00 Wed morning session yesterday.... the inspirational Betty Koliavras achieved her 7 stone weight loss award!! 😍🤩 she told the group it was her hardest half a stone to lose but her perseverance has paid off! My daughters are big into ramen so I did a simple version for myself today : onion, carrot, celery with wholewheat noodles found in Aldi this week, with a pack of sliced cooked beef cut up, miso paste and soya sauce to taste and coriander on top. It was so quick to make and sooo good!! (I never fancy the hard boiled egg you often see in ramen dishes so I left it out). I'm not the most enthusiastic cook so I'm always chuffed when I manage to try something new 🤩
