🎉Well done to Food Science and Nutrition student, Bridgeen Doherty, who received the Food Category prize this year at the Student Entrepreneur Awards.

Bridgeen's passion for fermentation and its health benefits led her to develop water kefir as a healthy alternative to mainstream fizzy drinks. Her entry also included a low-alochol version aimed at the bar and restaurant market, offering less sugar and additives.

🏆Bridgeen's win highlights the innovation and health consciousness in food entrepreneurship, a fundamental element of the BSc (Hons) In Food Science and Nutrition course. Read more about the programme offering here 👉 atu.ie/au370
