Winter Solstice Ceremony & Ritual
Friday, 19th December | 7:00–9:00pm
Join me in Ceremony and Ritual as we celebrate the Celtic Wheel Festival of the Winter Solstice — the moment when the sun appears to stand still, pausing at the depth of his descent into darkness. This is the longest night of the year, a sacred still point before the light begins its slow return.
The Winter Solstice invites us to pause, reflect, and rest — to honour both the darkness and the quiet promise of renewal that follows. Together, we will gather in circle and community, connecting through simple ritual, meditation, song, journalling, and prayer as we mark this turning of the wheel.
This ceremony offers space to:
Come together in community and stillness
Reflect and tap into the power of the season through guided journalling
Drop into meditation and song to open the heart and soften the mind
Welcome the returning light as a symbol of new beginnings — a time to rekindle your inner flame, open to what’s emerging, and carry gratitude and hope into the season ahead
No previous experience is needed — simply come as you are. Bring an open heart, a candle or small offering for the altar if you wish, and a journal or notebook for reflection.
Let us come together to celebrate this potent time of stillness, reflection, and renewal.
All are welcome
