The Sligo Rose Centre is part of the Rose of Tralee International Festival and holds the bi annual Sligo Rose Selection which chooses the Sligo Rose. The winning Rose then progresses to the Rose of Tralee International Festival. If you are interested in taking part next year, please call/text us on 0879135082 or email sligorose@gmail.com. The 2026 Sligo Rose, Bethany McLoughlin, paid a lovely visit to Ballymote Daycare Centre where she spent time chatting with all and getting to know everyone. There were plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the visit, as Bethany shared stories and enjoyed lighthearted conversations with all. She even treated to a few songs. Thank you to all the staff for their hospitality 🌹🌹

Bethany was delighted to join the Mayor of Sligo Gino O'Boyle and other members of Sligo County Council and dignitaries on the viewing stand for the 2026 St Patricks Day parade. It was a special day and the parade was superb showcasing all what is amazing about County Sligo. Massive thanks to Sligo BID and Finbar Filan for inviting Bethany to be apart of such a special event. Happy St Patricks day to everyone ☘️

The 2026 Sligo Rose Bethany McLoughlin was delighted to pop in to Ballymote Day Care Centre on Wednesday and meet with all the wonderful service users. Bethany had an amazing time chatting and laughing with all over a cuppa and even sang a song or two. Massive thank you to Aileen and all staff for their welcome and hospitality ❤️
