Having long-standing digestive symptoms is no joke.
People come to me after years of going to many doctors, consultants, and multiple medications with barely any relief. Looking at the root cause is the key to resolving health problems.🧐 Unfortunately, it's not a one-pill wonder either, there is work involved with dietary changes and adherence to lifestyle changes also, it's hard work!! 🏋️‍♀️
However! time and time again, those who are prepared to do the work always succeed.
Ann from Sligo stuck to it, did the work and her life, as she says, has transformed. Well done Ann!!. 🏆

Being healthy is not just about one thing, you may eat really well, but feel lonely or low. Getting out, joining groups,meeting other people is a great way to stay engaged before the January blues set in.

This is the group of fine ladies attending the 6 week nutrition and recipes course at the MCR Community Centre Sligo. There's a bit of learning going on, but there's also a bit of socialising too 😁

Quicker than toast. This is popular with my clients to get more vegetables in starting with breakfast. It's very simple, grated carrot and courgette OR beetroot which I have used here. All pre grated in the fridge, I grab a handful and sauté briefly in olive oil, I added 2 eggs but you can add avocado, hummus or smoked salmon or halloumi cheese. Lots of options to suit your preference.
This is giving great fibre, protein and fat, topped off with some toasted seeds, salt and pepper, keeping me full and satisfied till lunch. It may not actually be quicker than toast, but it's definitely tastier and more filling than toast!
