Sleep is not enough if it’s our soul that’s tired.....
Soul tired is a different kind of exhaustion, the kind that lingers even after eight hours beneath warm blankets. It’s the heaviness that comes from carrying emotional weight, from constantly being strong, from pouring into everything and everyone while neglecting ourselves.
It leaves our soul feeling parched, craving meaning, connection and a moment to simply breathe and ground into ourselves.
And sometimes the only way to quench that thirst is to reconnect with what’s real. The grounding stillness of trees, the steady reassurance of the earth beneath our feet, the clarity of water, the freedom in the wind. These are the places where the soul remembers itself.
To heal that kind of tired we need gentleness. We need honesty, boundaries, quiet moments, and connection to ourselves, to others that are good for us and to the earth. Sleep helps the body but truth, presence and nature are what revive the soul.
Unfortunately somewhere along the way we have forgotten that we are sacred and until we begin to remember, we may never feel awake
