Global Green Local Food Project
At Global Green, we take food seriously, offering the Global Green Local Food Project. Experience the beaty bites and sound sips that are kind to the earth and your taste buds. Step into the Community Permaculture Garden, a tranquil oasis filled with poppies, parsley, and an abundance of plants. Here, you'll connect with organizations like Cork Urban Soil Project, Community Gardens Ireland, and the East-Clare Community Co-op, all dedicated to regenerative practices from soil to seeds. Elements of Change
How do we have honest conversations in a world of fear, floods, and fires? In this era of perma-crises, talking, listening, feeling deeply, and pushing our boundaries is not only good but also a thrilling adventure! It's all happening at our talks tent, Elements of Change, where we've partnered with the awesome Irish Environmental Network to create a place of magic and mobilisation. Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster as we rise together to make a difference. At Elements of Change, join us in practical activities, collaboratively share experiences, and embark on an emotionally engaged journey. Our artivist approaches aim to tackle big-picture topics like climate, biodiversity, and even capitalism (gasp!). Let's dive into currency, energy, collapse, and discover how to nourish ourselves and our communities amidst these trying times. Ever wondered about the role of bitcoin or nuclear in all of this? Or what's so scary - or hopeful - about the Nature Restoration Law? We'll unravel those mysteries together! Learn how communities are standing strong against mining and fossil fuels and what exactly makes a transition just. Village Hall
