Our Darkness into Light Strokestown committee will be out and about on Saturday in both Eurospar Ireland and McGuinness - SuperValu Strokestown.

Thanks to the amazing team involved with Darkness into Light Strokestown for snapping the sunset late yesterday evening with the Pieta. Ending Su***de. Beginning Hope flag flying high on a gentle breeze.

Our ongoing project of Lighting the Grotto looks particularly well and we hope to complete this over the coming weeks (keep an eye out) for more.

Strokestown Tidy Town Group put the flag pole up for any community group to utilise to advertise or launch their event as was done over the last 3 years. Looking forward to seeing the various flags fly high for 2026

On a glorious Sunday morning we launched our Darkness into Light Flag in our Grotto 💛

Big thank you to Strokestown Tidy Town Group and to Jack and Killian who popped by after U6s training with Strokestown GAA to raise our flag 💛

Community registration for our Darkness into Light walk will be happening over next weekend, have a chat with our volunteers to get all your information about our walk on the 9th May 💛
