This week is Cervical Cancer Prevention Week💙

Cervical cancer often develops without symptoms, especially in the early stages. That’s why regular screening is so important. The HSE CervicalCheck programme can detect cell changes before they turn into cancer.
The HPV vaccine can also provide strong protection against the main HPV types linked to cervical cancer.

🔹Attend your smear test
🔹Be aware of symptoms such as unusual bleeding, pain, or discharge
🔹Speak to your GP or local pharmacy team if you have any questions
