Residents here Tara Winthrop Private Clinic Swords have been making the most of the beautiful recent weather with a lovely walk in our peaceful gardens 🌿☀️

After an energetic exercise session with Siel Bleu Ireland, it was wonderful to get outdoors, stretch the legs, and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

There were plenty of smiles along the way as residents took in the surroundings and enjoyed the moment together.

Another Throw-back to a very special moment shared together in Tara Winthrop Private Clinic on Good Friday

Our Residents came together to pray the 14 Stations of the Cross, creating a deeply meaningful and reverent atmosphere throughout the home🙏. The service was beautifully led by fellow Residents, Kay and Pauline, whose guidance and care made the experience even more personal and heartfelt.

It was a time of reflection, faith, and community — bringing comfort, connection, and a shared sense of peace to all who took part.

We are so proud of the warmth and spirit within our home, where moments like these remind us of the strength found in togetherness. 💜

What a wonderful time we had over Easter at Tara Winthrop Private Clinic Swords

Our Residents enjoyed a fantastic ‘hoolie’ filled with music, laughter, and great company. A big thank you to Derek, our talented singer and musician, who provided a beautiful selection of songs that had everyone singing along.

From old favourites to well-loved classics, the room was full of smiles, memories, and joyful voices — a truly special celebration for all.

We had a fantastic time on Friday, taking part in the Grace Healthcare Nursing Homes Group Virtual Quiz 💻👏

With 6 rounds and 10 questions in each, there was plenty of excitement, laughter and great team spirit among our residents and staff 😊

We were delighted to come away with 🥉 3rd Place, winning a fun pizza party for everyone to enjoy 🍕🎉

🍴 Culinary Excellence Across Grace Healthcare Ireland Nursing Homes - of which Tara Winthrop Private Clinic is one

On Thursday 12th March, Executive Chef Jose 👨‍🍳 brought together the talented chefs from all 10 Grace Healthcare Ireland homes 🏥 for an inspiring Culinary Day at Blenders Development Kitchen in Tallaght.

🔹 The day kicked off with a tour of Blenders’ production unit 🏭 — seeing how their sauces and condiments are made.
🔹 Chef Paul Bloxham, Culinary Director at Avendra International 🌍, shared insights on culinary trends, sustainability 🌱, and menu planning.
🔹 Chef Ronan Fox gave creative ideas on reducing food waste ♻️.
🔹 Chef Jose highlighted the philosophy behind Grace Healthcare’s catering approach ❤️.

🥘 The grand finale? A friendly cooking competition using Eat Curious products 🥦 — where creativity and collaboration were the main ingredients 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
