Suzanne Kenny - owner of yoga4all has been teaching classes in Swords since 2004 - As a keen athlete herself, her classes are dynamic and involve lots of movement and fun! Suitable for all levels, the studio was opened in 2011 and specialises in Aerial silks, Antigravity aerial yoga, Barre ballet classes aswell as more traditional vinyasa flow yoga classes

At Anam Kara, aerial workshops and classes will recommence in the upcoming weeks and we are coming in bigger and better , however for now, we have revised the September 14th schedule with a day of dynamic yoga and body conditioning barre. Both classes are suitable for all - no experience required ! Full details below :

Join us for a nourishing day of movement, connection, and restoration in the stunning surroundings of Glendalough House. Choose just one class, or create your own flow by mixing and matching — it’s all about what feels good for you.

10:00am – Dynamic Yoga with Blocks (90 mins | €25)

Start your day with a vibrant, energising flow designed to wake up your body and mind. Using yoga blocks as supportive tools, we’ll explore creative ways to deepen postures, refine alignment, and build both strength and stability. Expect playful sequencing, moments of challenge, and plenty of options to suit every level. The practice closes with a soothing, extended savasana to leave you grounded, open, and ready for the rest of the day.

12:00pm – Yoga Barre Fusion (90 mins | €25)

What to Expect in our Yoga/Barre Fusion masterclass

A hybrid style that blends traditional yoga with functional movement, mobility, and barre. Suzanne has been teaching barre since 2012 and was trained by Emma Newham of BarreConcept and Pilates Union UK.

This masterclass will use yoga blocks, barre moves, pilates balls and "non-traditional" yoga postures. All done to high tempo upbeat music

Barre is a fitness method that fuses ballet, yoga, Pilates, and strength training into a low-impact, full-body workout. It focuses on isometric movements, high repetitions, and small controlled motions to tone muscles, improve posture, increase flexibility, and build core strength. Barre is designed to be accessible to all fitness levels while creating lean, sculpted muscles similar to a dancer’s physique.

Exercises include planks and lunges etc to challenge balance, coordination, muscular endurance, and flexibility .

Class concludes with a yoga wind down and relaxation—a deeply valued component to help you leave feeling grounded and relaxed .

The Schedule :

12:00pm – Aerial Yoga for Beginners (90 mins | €35)

Perfect for newcomers — learn to flip, fly, and safely invert with Suzanne. This joyful introduction to aerial yoga invites you to step into the hammock and experience movement in an entirely new way. We will exploring balance, release, and lightness in the body. This class is designed especially for beginners, with plenty of variations to ensure comfort and confidence at every stage. You’ll finish feeling uplifted, empowered, and deeply relaxed.

2:00pm – 4:00pm – Walk & Restore (2 hrs | €40)

Enjoy a mindful walk with Sophie around Glendalough house including a stroll along parts of the river Avonmore whose name in Irish, An Abhainn Mhór, means “the great river”. Flowing from the Wicklow Mountains through lush woodlands and the peaceful water gardens of Glendalough House, it offers the perfect backdrop for grounding and connection. Afterwards, sink into a restorative aerial yoga session with Suzanne. With the hammock set low to the ground, we’ll gently unwind the spine, hips, and shoulders before closing with a cocooned yoga nidra and floating relaxation. This gentle class is ideal for those who spend long hours at a desk or on their feet, the perfect way to finish off your weekend.
