Anxiety is a normal components of our everyday lives, which is designed to help us and keep us safe. Excessive anxiety and trauma is characterized by a pervasive fear or apprehension, where in many cases, the cause may be unknown. Anxiety leaves us feeling we have no control over some aspect of our lives or situation which then creates more anxiety, informing us that something is wrong. This is a loop and becomes self fulfilling.
Have you ever considered counselling as a means of reducing or eliminating your anxiety?
Inappropriate levels of Anxiety may lead to Panic Attacks which have unhelpful consequences on one’s self-esteem and physical, emotional and mental health.
