The Village Market Holycross Christmas Extravaganza continues with the second of our Christmas markets on Saturday 13th of December.
Bring your kids to meet Santa and also write their Santa letters and post it in Santa's letter box which will be at the market and receive a special Good List certificate.
We'll have hot chocolate, teas, coffees, treats, and delicious homemade baked goods on offer.
Check out all the wonderful crafts and Irish handmade items that our talented traiders have to offer.
There'll be a fundraiser for The Tidy Village Christmas lights appeal.

We are on a count down for our Gala Concert, the Abbey will be beautifully illuminated with spectacular coloured uplighting, enhancing its timeless beauty and creating a truly enchanting atmosphere for this special night.

Featuring

World renowned Brú Ború performance group: performing “The Music of the Season”, a stunning live mix of Irish, and festive melodies.

The Holycross Drama Group: presenting “The Tomb of the Good Woman’s Son,” a powerful dramatization of a local legend.
The warmth and harmony of the Ballycahill Choir capturing the true spirit of Christmas.

A timeless piece of poetry by our very own Pat Slattery and the beautiful voice of Mark O Gorman

To close it out ‘’Dwan and Only’’.

BALLYCAHILL CHOIR: Annual Charity Carol Service at 7pm on Sunday Dec 14th in Ballycahill Church. Entry is free but there will be baskets left at the exit doors afterwards, should anyone wish to contribute. This year our charities of choice are Féileacáin and First Light, both of which support families through infant death.

Reminder our Photo Exhibition will run until 23rd December in the Dormitory upstairs over Holycross Abbey Gift Shop during Shop opening hours - Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 11.30am to 4pm (closed for lunch 1 to 1.30pm). All are welcome to take a trip down memory lane - spot yourself, you neighbour and friends and see old pictures of the Abbey, village and surrounds.
