Save the Date – Something Special is Coming

The Holycross / Ballycahill Historical Society is preparing a special event celebrating the story of Holycross Abbey and the people behind its restoration.

We will present a unique evening of film, music, and local history in Holycross Community Centre.

Live music from Billy Bob O'Dwyer, award-winning singer-songwriter, and writer of “Tipperary Girl.”

Expect a warm, welcoming night filled with nostalgia, community spirit, and a few lovely surprises along the way.

Mary Jo Fanning R.I.P.
The death has occurred of Mary Jo Fanning, née Ryan (Martin), Rosemount, Thurles and formerly Glenreigh, Holycross, Thurles and Doorish, Rossmore, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. In the exceptional care of the staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. Predeceased by her parents Ned and Maurita. Deeply regretted by her husband Sean, son John, daughter Martina, grand-daughter Róisín, John's partner Amanda, Róisín's father Killian, brothers, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her during her career in Tesco's Liberty Square, Thurles. Anthony Joseph (Tony) Molloy R.I.P.
Crossogue, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Ann, sister Mary and brother Franz. Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Veronica (née Wilkinson) and family; sons Mark and John, daughters Pippa, Anna-Rose, Kate and Tessa, grandchildren Shelley, Ian, Zak, Humphrey, Sam, Emily, Camilla, Bartolomé, Hannah, Luke, Belén, Carra, Sandy, Alexandria, Harriet and Ruben, great-grandchild Leuan, daughters and son-in-law Nick, Clara and Jennifer, brother Joseph, sister Christelle, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
