Hard work, determination, and a bit of patience ⌛

We all know the gym can be intimidating at the best of times, never mind for a young lad surrounded by social media and constant noise about how we should look and behave.

found it tough at first. He doubted himself, felt like he couldn’t do it, and thought he’d never reach his goal…

But over 30kg of a loss later and Jamie’s just getting started 🔥

Kev showing what a difference consistency, accountability, and small daily habits make 👏

is a busy dad who works shift work, so long hours in the gym and endless cardio were never realistic for him. The main aim was to feel better in himself, have more energy for work and family life, and get back into a healthier routine. 💪

Here’s what we did:

✅ Focused on getting stronger and improving his body composition rather than worrying about the scales. ⚖️
✅ Stayed consistent with his training program (3-4 times a week), even on busy weeks. 💪🏼

Here’s the hard truth👇

It’s rarely just one thing…
It’s usually a mix of small habits that add up and stall your progress:

✅ Mindless snacking
✅ Underestimating portion sizes
✅ Weekend calories ruining weekday effort
✅ Low daily activity outside the gym
✅ And… lack of patience (yes, progress takes longer than most people want to hear 😅)

Our goal at AOC fitness is to help everyday people drop body fat, get fit, get strong mentally and physically and take control of their bodies.

It's about giving moms and dads the coaching they need to get into shape while balancing family, work and everything in between 💯

It's about helping young men and women low on body confidence or stuck in a rut take action and build bodies they can be proud of. 🤝

Shoutout to - 17.5kg down and stronger than ever! 💪🏻🏋🏻‍♀️

This journey hasn’t been easy. It’s taken time, consistency, and a whole lot of determination.⌛

Bryan has faced challenges head-on, pushed through the tough days, and stayed committed to becoming the best version of himself. 💪🏻

Now, 17.5kg lighter, he’s not just leaner, he’s fitter, stronger, and more resilient than ever. 🔥

Progress like this doesn’t happen overnight. It takes hard work. Bryan’s journey so far is a reminder that with the right mindset, anything is possible. And the scary thing is we're not finished yet 💥

Where to find your motivation?? 🤔🤔

With it being the first week of May, the weather being so good and summer just around the corner..☀️

Motivation is the thing everyone's looking for everyday...🔎

Motivation to get up and go to work....
Motivation to go to the gym....
Motivation to eat healthy....

Some days you just don't have it, you just don't have motivation for anything....but that's ok, we're just human at the end of the day.
Unfortunately there's no magic switch for people to just turn on being motivated (although booking holidays seems to do it for most 🙈😅)

The one thing I can't stress enough in regards to motivation is keep pushing, it's ok to have bad days but don't give up...
The motivation will come back again and you'll keep smashing it 🔥

𝙄'𝙢 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙥 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧....

How many times have we tried something like this. 🙈

Day 1 down...Easy work

Day 5...Kids stress you out, work didn't go to plan. 1 share bar to myself later and I feel like sh*t for caving 🙄

This year rather than giving up something take up something this year 🙌💯

- Go for a walk over the weekends🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
- Meditate once a day 🧘
- Read a book 📚
- Try to exercise even just 2-3 times per week 🏋️

You don't need to join a gym or do PTS if the gym isn't for you, in Tipp Town you're spoiled for choice.

run club on Tuesdays is the best run club I've ever seen. 🏃🏻‍♂️
runs probably the best classes in the county with a rock solid community. 🏋🏻‍♀️
There's hiking and walking groups. ⛰️

They're just a few off the top of my head. 💭

The options are there it's just a matter of making the most of the choices and finding what's best for you 💪🏻

So for the next 40 days try to introduce something new, it'll be a lot more satisfying than trying to deprive yourself and more beneficial in the long run and you'll end up making new habits 💥

Can't isn't a word that Adam likes to use...

Being told he can't do this and won't be able to do that is something that has happened quite a few times over the past 12 months. But time after time Adam defys the odds and keeps proving people wrong 🙌🏻

Adam is determined to get stronger and walk by himself again, the progress he's made is amazing....coming into the gym always happy, dancing, laughing and smiling. He's our very own celebrity and always motivates everyone around him 🤗

I've learned a lot from training Adam over the past few months and I think we all could learn a few things...
Be more like Adam, that's what I think to myself daily. 💭
If we all had even half of his positivity the world would be a better place ☺️🌞
