Will and Ellie offer creative arts psychotherapy sessions for groups and individuals. Creative arts psychotherapy is a form of psychological therapy which uses creative mediums to communicate and explore feelings and issues. No previous experience in any creative activity is required. It is a chance to play, express and explore in a safe and comfortable environment. Clients can participate in individual or group sessions which may include the use of drama, movement, story, myth, improvisation, voice, play, puppetry, art and music. Through interaction, play and creativity we can discover new aspects to ourselves and find new ways to cope with life’s challenges.
‘The creative arts therapies offer a supportive environment, where people can communicate and work through emotions using the art form as a vehicle for emotional self-expression, interaction and change.’ - IACAT 2021
