Finding My Rhythm 🎵 within the social media universe.

Sometimes life is faster than I think it should be. Everyone's sprinting towards a finish line or hard deadline I can't even see. But lately, I've been trying to do the do and yet be at ease.

I'm learning that things take up much more time than I think they will.

It's not about being slow or lazy. It's about honouring my own rhythm. Some days I feel like a whirlwind of productivity and got things done on time. Other days, I didn't and have to just start again as best as possible, breathe, and simply be.

This doesn't mean giving up. It means finding a way to pursue something I want to get done and do it in a way that feels sustainable and joyful. It means celebrating small victories and acknowledging that progress isn't always linear.

Hi everyone, it's Silka here.
I wanted to share a bit about my journey to becoming a Physio.
When I was 16, I fell during gymnastics and hurt my right knee. It took three surgeries and a very long time of physiotherapy and daily rehab sessions, under the guidance of dedicated Physiotherapists, to get my mobility back. It took the bones of 2 years to have ease walking again. This experience of professional guidance from those physios and their support inspired me to pursue a career in helping others as a physiotherapist.

This is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I'm eager to use social media to connect with all of you and share my passion for health, wellbeing and using it to also share information about oxidative stress. (as this is also one main aspect of not being well)
Plus, you'll get to meet my adorable black fur friends along the way (some of you have meet Luna my Cat in real already).

In Ireland, January 6th is Nollaig na mBan, little Christmas or Women's Christmas.
It's a day for women to relax and enjoy a break from household duties, while men take over the chores. Women gather with friends and family, often enjoying a meal out together. It's a lovely tradition to celebrate the contributions of women after the busy festive season.

Take a Moment for Yourself! 🌟

Hi everyone, hope your Sunday is full of ease and gentleness.
I wanted to share a friendly reminder to take some time to relax and recharge, while all the same keeping your focus on the great opportunities ahead.
Remember it's still early January but one thing is sure we often overestimate what we can achieve in one year but underestimate what we can achieve in 10 years. 🧘‍♀️✨

We also often underestimate how important it is to breathe. Without our Breath we wouldn't even see beyond the next 4-6 min.
Please be kind to yourself and take a few deep breaths in gratitude for this day. 🤗
Take a few minutes today to practice deeper breathing.
Try this:
Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and slowly exhale through your mouth. Repeat this for 5 minutes to calm your mind and body.

And with that you have created great energy for your Body and Mind.
Now you can use this energy to Stretch. This is also something most of us don't do half enough.
Stretch your arms above your head, reach for the stars, and then slowly bend to each side while exhaling.
This helps release tension and improves upper body mobility. Everyone can do this one as best possible. No special equipment or environment needed. All it takes is a deep breath and a little motion.

Then, if you really wanted to top this, you could take a few minutes to jot down your thoughts, feelings, and reflections. This simple act of self-reflection can help you stay grounded and clear-headed and hold onto feeling good for a little longer.

Remember: taking care of yourself is just as important as staying focused. You've got this! 💪💚
