We are delighted to host the Mobile Information Unit this Friday 9th January from 11am to 3pm

This amazing free service offers a unique opportunity to meet with foundation representatives and nurses, to discuss risk factors for all common types of cancers, and to gain awareness of the impact of healthy lifestyle and early detection, in the reduction of cancer risk. This service if free of charge and completely confidential to all who wish to avail of it.

We are very passionate in Ryles Pharmacy about all topics related to cancer, its early detection and successful treatment, so we would love to see a good turn-out to make the most of this opportunity. Call in to us in the pharmacy, or give a bell on 066-7124701, if you would like a little more information in the run-up to the event 💪

A moment of gratitude for the year of 2025 in Ryles Pharmacy. Things are returning to normal after a wonderful Christmas and New Years break and we wish everyone the best that life can bring in 2026.

This past year has been another joyful and busy one in the pharmacy - owed completely to our supportive and wonderful customers, our fabulous neighbours on all sides on Ashe Street, our own families and friends, and last but by no means least, our absolutely stellar team who make Ryles Pharmacy the successful and happy workplace that it is.

We look forward to this new year in the hopes of continuing to deliver the best service we can - to helping our customers to leave with smiles on their faces, but most importantly to take a little bit of the stress and angst out of moments of illness, fear or loss. Our job is unfortunately one that is steeped in sorrow sometimes - we have lost treasured customers over the past year, customers who became friends - but we hope that we have given and will continue to give solid support to all in these difficult situations.

A new year is a chance to reset and set some personal goals but, importantly, each day is a new day and sometimes all we need to do is to put one foot in front of the other and take each day as it comes.

Call to the door in the case of emergency but unfortunately we cannot dispense until electricity is restored.

We welcomed the Autumn/Winter season last week with a fabulous team night out at

This was a bittersweet occasion as we bade farewell to our gorgeous student pharmacist, Sonia, who sat her pre-registration exam last Saturday and is hopefully well on her way into a rewarding career as a pharmacist ❤️
It was also a little send-off to Patrick, who last week began his first week studying pharmacy at UCC!
We have no doubt that they are both destined for greatness and we look forward to welcoming them back to in the future!

Fin is also back to the grind in his second year of the Pharmacy Technician course in MTU - thankfully he will still be with us on Fridays and Saturdays to keep us on the straight & narrow 😉

In other exciting news we have also welcomed the wonderful Yvonne as our new technician! Yvonne will be a familiar face to many after her many years as Gráinne’s right-hand woman in Fairies Cross - as you can see it’s like she has always been with us 🥰🥰

Thanks to all at for great care as always and a top notch feed, and a huge thanks to our treasured team, who continue to show up smiling and keep this show on the road at the highest standard 💪
