You don't need grand leaps forwards to move the needle in the right direction.
1% better is all it takes.
Your body needs consistent corrective experiences where it can establish that the threat is no longer present so it can bring itself back to a relaxed state.
1% better trumps big jumps and even bigger relapses any day of the week.
Make sure the work you're doing is paying off.
How will you know you're doing the right things?
You should feel lighter, more confident, less worried, more hopeful after doing them.
If you're not feeling this, you might need to adjust the plan slightly. The body needs to escape the threat/fear state for this to be effective.
That's why we talk so much about mindset and doing the mental reps as much as the physical reps.
We move through the day with a lens of safety, leaving the danger detectors at home.
Kudos to for the πΈ, maybe someday I'll be less intimidated by that lens!
