This collection (along with a second in Ardfert on Aug 4th) is our main fundraiser of the year and is vital in supporting our ever-growing player base. These defibrillators are already in place across the Ballyheigue area, offering a lifeline in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. In emergencies like these, every second matters. The minutes—or even seconds—gained by having immediate access to a defibrillator can truly mean the difference between life and death.

But these devices only remain effective if they’re kept in proper working order. That’s why the Ballyheigue Defib Group is now raising funds to support their ongoing maintenance, including replacing batteries and pads, and ensuring the equipment is always ready to be used.
