We need to stand up and fight to get this government to buy the land instead of leasing it OR find a new location to build the National Maternity Hospital.

Have a read of Dr Peter Boylan piece below to see how it will affect the women and men of this country and the generations to come. The lease is for 149 years!

The former Master of the National Maternity Hospital says the Catholic ethos will never meet with that of the State and it’s time to move on.

It's been a tough week on all of us adjusting to the unknown. It's been a week of dealing with anxiety, fear and lots of questions.
Yesterday I spent time explaining to my little girl the need for social distancing....why I was keeping her indoors most of the time and why she could only go out for walks with family. She seemed to grasp it a little. What I struggled to explain was the number of children outside playing together and the kids calling to the door asking could she come out to play with them!
PLEASE parents, do your bit! I know it's hard on all of us, especially the child care situation, but try to explain the risks to your children. I get that we are not in lockdown (YET) But that's where we are headed if we don't try to curb the flow now. We have one chance to slow this down so please try your best to do your part.

You may have heard the word "coronavirus" online or on TV. You probably have a lot of questions. Check out our comic to get some answers — and print out a zine version at home.
