What we’re looking for:
✅ Degree in Theology (or equivalent with Theology as a major)
✅ Completion of 3 Units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or Higher Diploma in Pastoral Theology (Healthcare Chaplaincy)
✅ Certification by the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board (or application in progress)
✅ Experience in acute adult healthcare settings (desirable)
✅ Compassionate and collaborative approach to holistic care
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work a 5-over-7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
✅ Commitment to continuous professional development

The 2025 Bon Secours Rose Cup took place on Saturday, August 16th at Healy Park and Na Gaeil GAA grounds, with 16 U13 teams taking part in a day of excellent football.

Today, the SAFETY PARTNERS Quality initiative was launched at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee. This initiative focuses on correct patient identification at every step and empowers patients to ask for their identity to be checked—and to challenge it if it isn’t. Patients are seen as “Safety Partners” in the identification process at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee.

All patients must be correctly identified prior to receiving care, treatment, undergoing a procedure or intervention, administering medication, or being served a meal. The patient is the prime source for verifying their full name and date of birth. Their participation in the identification process is an integral part of patient care.

The two patient identifiers used at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee are:
• Full Name

🏆 The Bon Secours County Championship kicks off this Sunday, August 17th, with 38 teams across five divisions, from Senior to Junior C! It's the third year that Bon Secours Hospital Tralee are the proud sponsors and official Health Partner of Kerry LGFA, and the excitement is set to reach new heights.

The Senior Championship sees last year's champions Finuge St Senans and Castleisland Desmonds defend their titles, while Scartaglen joins them after an unforgettable Intermediate victory. Abbeydorney enters the Intermediate battle after a nail-biting extra-time win in the Junior A Final. The Junior A Division promises fierce competition with 7 teams, including 2024 Junior B Champions Killarney Legion and runners-up Ballymacelligott.

In Junior B, sides from all corners of Kerry will compete, with Beale making the leap after their Junior C triumph. Newcomers Churchill and Dromid Pearses add fresh energy to the Junior C ranks, alongside senior teams from Castleisland Desmonds and Finuge St Senans.

With all the senior intercounty players returning to action, the 2025 Bon Secours County Championship promises to be every bit as thrilling as last year's showdown! 🏐🔥

Winners of the Senior, Intermediate, and Junior A titles will represent Kerry at the AIB Munster LGFA Championships and, with the All-Ireland Semi-Finals in sight, the stakes are higher than ever!
