Day 2 of being a tourist in my own county – and once again, heaven on earth 💙

This morning I joined a seaweed walk 🌿 along the shore, followed by an afternoon dip in the sea 🌊 – pure bliss!

Tonight was just magical… a dark sky walk under a canopy of stars ✨ and a visit to the harbour to witness bioluminescence glowing in the water 💫.

The photos could never do it justice – you really have to be there to believe it.

I’m made up after another unforgettable day. The local group have been nothing short of amazing – so welcoming and such true ambassadors for community spirit 🙌💛

Hike 6 of Ireland’s 7 Summits Challenge with Jason Black Mountaineering ✅

We took on:
• Slieve Corragh – 641 m
• Slieve Bearnagh – 739 m
• Slieve Commedagh – 767 m
• Slieve Meelmore – ~680 m
• Slievenaglough – ~680 m

The mountains were mighty, the craic was even mightier. Legs tired, heart full ❤️ One to go! # #

🦋 This weekend, we mark what would’ve been our beloved son Odhran’s 12th birthday.
In August 2013, our world was forever changed. Odhran arrived loved beyond measure—but heartbreakingly, we had to say goodbye far too soon. Child loss is a pain that never fades. It's felt in every birthday missed, every milestone that never came, and every moment that echoes with what might have been.

In our darkest hour, Féileacáin offered us light—a memory box of keepsakes, a space to grieve, and a community that understands. Their support allowed us to honour Odhran’s short, beautiful life with tenderness and dignity.

This October, I’m running the Dublin City Marathon in Odhran’s memory. I'm running for him. For us. For every family that needs Féileacáin’s gentle hand during unimaginable loss.

There's lumps in my sauce but damn it was soo good! Thanks to Elaine for hooking me up with the new laughing cow spicy cheese triangles...soo good! Was caught for time so threw the chicken into airfryer to bake, microwaved the steam bag of rice and then the broccoli and then i threw the triangles into the brocoli water, it should have used a different container too much water and I didn't stir it properly i gave up and just chucked t on the food. . The taste was fab! 10/10 thx Elaine 😊

Another round of stellar awards handed out 👏 and I honestly thought the big win on Sunday might affect the numbers on the scales... but WOW – our members showed up and turned up for themselves 💚

Whether the scales moved or not – the real win is in showing up. So incredibly proud of the effort, the mindset shifts, and the commitment to self-care this week.

London a quick over and back of course crammed as much as I could... titanic vr for my obsession with the legend, then we went to see imagine dragons and the next day we went for a jogged, followed by some sightseeing and took in the match, m&m store and the lego store...up early to head home yesterday morning seriously tired yesterday. But twas good fun!
