Get children ready for Junior Infants with our special Starting School storytime at Central Library! 📚

Join us from 11am on Saturday August 20th for face painting, storytime and a chance to get children into the habit of visiting the library before school!

(if you haven't already collected one, there's a free bag of books available to pick up at your local branch for every child starting school this year! Just ask at the desk :)) 💼

"Children never, ever CHOOSE the meltdown.

The meltdown is the byproduct of a brain that isn't coping with something."

This is so spot on. It's extremely easy to get frustrated by a meltdown and let that take over (trust me, I know), but it really helps to take a deep breath and then ask yourself what you think might be causing the meltdown.

From that point, it's much easier to address the need.
