Little did I know ...

When I was struggling, feeling trapped, alone, full of fear and no idea if how or where I was going in my life, I was caught up with all the drama of struggling.

My perception was that I would always be in that space and I would never find a way out

Looking back on that time and acknowledging where I am now, I notice the transformation is amazing.

At no time while I was staying stuck in that space did I have an awareness that I had a CHOICE in how I viewed my situation and that by changing my viewpoint I could change my life ..

Somehow I started to realise that all that drama was all about me , I had no self worth, no belief that I could make a change in my life for the better ..I spent a long time thinking that I'd get the guidance I needed from outside of me .

How wrong was I !

Once I started owning my part of where I found myself, going inwards to challenge my belief system I started to feel that there was hope !

I could do this !!

I could never have imagined my life could have been so full of gratitude, joy, and appreciation when I was feeling so low.

Don't ever define yourself by where you are right now, especially if you are struggling.

It will get better ❤💜

So why call it Soul2Sole

Many years ago I was struggling through a very difficult situation that resulted in me doubting my own inner intuition. I felt totally overwhelmed, lost, and felt like I did not know where I was going and how I would cope in the situation I found myself. It was bad enough that I was totally lost and confused, but I also had two children who needed caring for and guidance. I had looked for help from professionals many times and had been told that help was not really available to me. I followed the counselling route and while I found that it helped on a level it did not totally help me shift the feelings of lack of self esteem, worthiness, anxiety and feeling totally overwhelmed. The therapies I practice and offer all helped me on my journey to self discovery. During that time one of my children developed an illness which was not life threatening but nonetheless very distressing. I had been to many specialists and had many medications but none were working, A friend suggested Reflexology. I had never heard of it but at this stage would have tried anything to see if it could help. I was very surprised to see that it did. And when I realised it helped I decided in my wisdom to learn how to do it so I could use it and help my child. That was my first introduction to holistic healing. I learned very early on that emotional responses to painful experiences can manifest in the physical body if they are not addressed. So the SOLE refers to reflexology and physical therapies that I do that affect and re address the balance in the physical body, and SOUL refers to the fact that these inbalances in the body affect us mind, body and soul. It is all connected. Our energy field reflects our journey through life and how we deal with and express our emotional feelings and how we deal with stress and anxiety, as this is now known to cause 80% of physical dis-ease in the body. If we learn to listen to our emotions and work through them as opposed to suppressing them, our energy flows and in turn our physical body can maintain optimum health.

Coming to SOUL2SOLE is a step in the right direction to creating balance on a mental, physical and emotional level. I am committed to giving you the space to rebalance your life to feel WHOLE again, through a combination of therapies that help address your concerns.
