Funeral arrangements for the late Margaret Kelly, Bermingham Road, Tuam

Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in University Hospital Galway. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Peggy Quille. Deeply loved and mourned by her husband Seamus, sons Seamus and Fergal, daughter Maebh, beloved grandchildren Cuán, James, Muireann, Kate, Casper and Maximillian, daughters-in-law Kathleen and Ophelia, son-in-law Olivier, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Margaret will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Friday evening from 5.30 o’c until 7 o’c. Followed by removal to her home. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.30 o’c in Cathedral of the Assumption. Funeral afterwards to Tuam.

Funeral arrangements for the late Marcin Knasiak, River Crest, Tuam.

Marcin; Predeceased by his father Bogumil. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marzena. Sons Dawid, Jakub and Sebastian, his mother Barbara, brothers Jacek and Adam, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass for Marcin will take place in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam, on Friday morning at 11.30 o'c.

Paul Kavanagh, College Green, Tuam, Athlacca, Limerick and formerly of
Ballybrone, Corofin, Galway.

Our treasured Paul tragically passed away on 24th December 2025 following a car accident. Beloved grandson of the late Teresa Kavanagh and Mark and Bernie Carr. Paul will be forever loved and missed by his heartbroken parents Kevin and Alison, devoted sister and brother Grace and Ryan, his cherished grandad Martin, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, his wide circle of friends, his colleagues at Enda Bolger’s yard and the close-knit horse racing community.

Funeral arrangements for the late Theresa Mahon, Tullinadaly Road, Tuam.

Theresa’s gentle Soul passed away peacefully on 23rd December, in the wonderful care of the Galway Hospice, after an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth, sisters Bridie and Mary, brothers James, Philip, Noel and John and her baby grandson Alex.

Theresa will be dearly missed by her loving husband Tony, devoted daughter Lisa, sons Michael and Gerry, their partners Seán, Shreya and Sarah, her four grandchildren James, Caitlin, Eva and Jessica, her loving sister Rita and her brothers Michael and Matt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mary Bridget (Judy) Timmins (nee Garvin) Fairgreen Heights, Tuam, Co. Galway and late of Shrataggle, Co. Mayo.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary (Judy) Timmins. Judy passed away peacefully in her own home on Monday the 15th of December.
Predeceased by her husband Fintan, her siblings Jack, Bridie, Tim and Kathy. Judy was an affectionate mother to John and Brendan, a cherished mother-in-law to Carmel and Teresa, and a proud grandmother to Hannah, Luke, Emily and Liam. She will be dearly missed by her brother Paddy, sister Rose, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Judy will repose at her home (1 Fairgreen Heights, Tuam, Co. Galway, H54 FT63) on Thursday evening from 5 o’c until 8 o’c. Arriving at The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:30 o’c, Funeral afterwards to Tuam Cemetery.

John passed away peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gertrude. John is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Nancy J., his sons, John P. Garvey, Jr. and his wife Gloria and Thomas D. Garvey and his wife Jennifer his brothers, Killian Garvey (Greystones) and Neil Garvey (Tuam), his sister, Deirdre Cosgrove (Westport). John is also survived by his grandchildren Katherine, Stephanie, Alexandra, Michelle, Christina, Thomas, Juliette, and Sean, relatives and friends.
�A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 11:30 o’c at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, Florida.�John will be laid to rest on in the Memorial Garden at Our Lady of Light.

John will be remembered on Friday morning at the 10 o’c Mass
in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam.
