Funeral arrangements for the late Patricia King RIP.

The death has occurred of Patricia King, B.A., L.T.C.L., (Née Kennedy), Bishop Street, Tuam, Co. Galway and Mountain View Road, Ranelagh, Dublin (Speech and Drama teacher, long standing member of Tuam Theatre Guild, Stage Actor/Director). Surrounded by her loving family in the warm and attentive care of the staff of Cuan Chaitríona Nursing Home, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerry, her parents Hugh P. Kennedy and Anne J. Kennedy (nee McNamara) and her sister Pauline Murphy (1964).

Dearly loved and deeply missed by her children Feargal, Paula, Louise, Celine and Aodhán, her sister Théresè (Terrie) Kearney, her sons-in-law Richard Gillespie and Phylip ab Owain, daughters-in-law LeShawn Gee, Elizabeth Devine and Breda Barry, her beloved grandchildren Kieran, Gearóid, Gwydion, Finola, Arianrhod, Glesni and Mattie, nieces and nephews, extended family, former students and many friends and associates of the theatre and amateur drama world.

Patricia will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Thursday evening from 6.00 o’c. Removal at 7 o’c to the Cathedral of the Assumption. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards to the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar, County Mayo.

David: Unexpectedly and peacefully in St Teresa's, University Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by his beloved parents Philomena and Graham and treasured family members of the extended Gunning and Walters families.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his uncle Louie Gunning (Williamstown), his aunt Mary Duignan (Tuam), his many beloved cousins and their families, many friends and neighbours, in Ireland, England and Wales. Jane passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her own home. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Miko) and mother of the late Margaret (Feely). Loving and much-loved mother of Mary (Waldron), Therese (Diskin), Anne (Quinn), Larry, Gerry and Michael, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Jane will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, sons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Brian, Jarlath and Peter, her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Jane will repose at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam, Co. Galway (H54Y677) on Tuesday evening from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. It is with deep sadness that Denis’s wife, Anna (née Joyce) and their children Sinéad, Brian and Paul share the sad news of his sudden death on 17th May 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and May.
Denis will be sadly missed and fondly remembered always by his heartbroken family. His beloved wife Anna, by Sinéad, Brian and Paul. Jimmy passed away suddenly at home on Sunday 4th May. He will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Jim and Ann, his brothers Paul and Charlie, sisters Gillian and Sara, his beloved partner and best friend Maria, nieces Emma and Ann, nephews Adam, Oscar, Finn, Ethan, Rhys, Henry and James, sisters-in-law Jenny and Eileen, brother-in-law Simon, cousins, uncles, aunts, extended family and his huge circle of close friends.
He will be forever remembered as “The King”.
