We’re thrilled to announce that after the recent storm cleanup, Castlegrove Woods is open once again for all to enjoy! 🍃

The trails are clear, the fresh air is back, and it's the perfect time to reconnect with nature. Whether you're walking, running, or just soaking up the beauty, we can’t wait to welcome you back to the woods!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the cleanup and to all our supporters who continue to make projects like this possible. 🌿

🌲 Please exercise caution around trees in the forest as we continue to monitor the area for safety.

Come explore the newly restored trail and let the healing power of nature do its magic. ✨

Some serious work done by Pat, Niall and the team at McTigue Quarries Limited this week on the entrance road into Castlegrove Woods thanks to funding received from ORIS with the support from Galway County Council community development team. The guys work so far exceeded our expectations and the road in at last is near completion in record time. 💪💪💪

Please note that the trail at Castlgove Woods is closed for recreational use as work is been carried out by Coillte. The turnaround time on this phase of the project we hope will be short and thank you for your patience, work will also commence soon on the entrance road in thanks to grant received from the outdoor recreational fund ( ORIS ) with the help from our colleagues in Galway Co. Co, Sean Canney TD and local councillors who's supporting our project. We will keep you posted on progress and appreciate your support.
