We are looking for an OTC Assistant to join our small, friendly team.
The main duties of the role will include the following:
Providing a high level of customer and patient care.
Providing excellent customer advice through product knowledge.
Placing orders with wholesalers, checking in deliveries, dealing with supply issues etc.
Knowledge of suppliers and product sourcing.
Maintaining stock at optimal levels and replenishing stock.
Ensuring stock is displayed in an organised and attractive manner.
Knowledge and experience required:
Community pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential
Previous experience in merchandising, promotion and social media a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
A keen interest in retail pharmacy.
A work ethic centred on customer service.
Rota: The weekday work hours are flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate but will most likely consist of three to four 8.5 hours shifts per week.
Note the pharmacy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
