Order of Service for the Funeral Mass of Michael Severs which takes place tomorrow Thursday, 25th September, at 12 noon in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Tubbercurry, with his burial thereafter in Rhue Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Severs, Highfield, Charlestown Road, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo and formerly of Tuam, Co. Galway, on 22nd September, 2025, peacefully at his home (in his 89th year), surrounded by his loving family.

Former Principal of North Connaught College.

Predeceased by his wife, Rosaleen.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters Rosanne and Marie, sons Paul and Darragh, son-in-law James, daughter-in-law Jillian, cherished grandchildren Aisling, Niall, Aoife, Roisin, Niamh and Orlaith, brother Paul, sisters Ann (Killilea) and Evelyn (Conran), sisters-in-law Betty, Kathleen, May and Norma, brother-in-law Jack, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Michael Rest in Peace 🙏

The death has occurred of Derek Duffy, Rushes Cottage, Rooskey, Co. Mayo and formerly of Co. Kilkenny, England, Canada and the U.S. on 11th September, 2025, suddenly at his residence.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters Victoria and Kirsty, sons-in-law, grandchildren (Canada), partner Jane Saville, brothers (UK), sister (UK), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends in his music circle.

Derek will repose at his residence on Tuesday, 16th September, from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and again on Wednesday, 17th September, from 3 p.m until 10 p.m.

A private cremation service at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, will follow.

“If music be the food of love, play on”.

The death has occurred of James Feely, Tullymoy, Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo on 9th August, 2025, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Kathleen Feely.

Predeceased by his parents James and Anne, brother Tom and his grandson Connor.
