Some days feel heavier than others. And sometimes, even when life looks “normal” on the outside, people can be carrying more than we realise.
As a community, it’s important to remember that it’s okay to not be okay. Grief, worry, stress, and overwhelm can affect anyone — and there is no right or wrong way to feel.
If you’re struggling, please don’t face it alone. Reaching out can feel difficult, but there are people who genuinely want to listen and help:
Samaritans (24/7): 116 123
Pieta House (24/7): 1800 247 247 or text HELP to 51444
Aware (support for anxiety & depression): 1800 80 48 48
Your GP or local health services
And just as importantly — check in on those around you. A simple message, a chat over a cup of tea, or letting someone know you’re there can make more of a difference than you might think.
We are stronger when we look out for one another. Mind yourselves, and mind each other
