🎄 Sepsis doesn’t take time off for the holidays.
Flu season is here, and while most of us bounce back after a few days, sometimes the flu can lead to something much more serious, sepsis. Knowing the signs can save a life. 💛

Your Christmas reminder:
✔️ Flu symptoms like headaches, runny nose, cough, sore throat, and chills are common this time of year.
❗ But if symptoms get suddenly worse or just don’t feel right, it could be a warning sign of sepsis.

Look out for:
* Extreme shivering or severe pain
* Slurred speech or confusion
* Trouble breathing
* Passing little or no urine
* Mottled skin

If you spot these signs in yourself or someone you love, get medical help immediately.

Stay safe, stay aware, enjoy the holidays and remember, sepsis doesn’t take holidays… but together, we can save lives. ❤️

Living Well Programme available for people living with long-term health conditions such as heart issues, asthma, stroke, Parkinson’s, diabetes, and more.

This self-management programme runs online over 7 weeks, helping participants gain practical tools, confidence, and support to manage their condition and improve their wellbeing.

📅 Dates: Tuesday 4th November – Tuesday 16th December
⏰ Time: 10:30am – 1:00pm (same day and time each week)
💻 Format: Online
👥 Participants: 10–15 per programme
